GitHub previews HydraFusion for runtime multi-model coding workflows

GitHub released Project HydraFusion as a research preview in Copilot CLI. For each request it selects a single-model, cascade or critique workflow across multiple providers, while accounting for every model call and applying no patch if execution is cancelled or fails validation.

Why it mattersThe abstraction is moving above model selection: developers choose one coding agent, and the runtime decides when a cheaper draft is enough, when independent review helps, and when to escalate. Teams should test its real latency, cost and review quality because GitHub's published results come from controlled offline evaluations.

OpenClaw 2026.9.2 adds Astra support and durable agent recovery

OpenClaw's September 5 release adds GPT-6 Astra support, restart recovery for active and delegated replies, live settings updates and default swarm orchestration. It also introduces richer Gateway latency diagnostics and broader cross-agent session visibility with narrower visibility settings available.

Why it mattersLong-running agents fail at operational seams such as restarts, upgrades, configuration changes and handoffs. Recovery markers, bounded session access and phase-level telemetry make those seams explicit—but the new all-session default means operators should review visibility policy before upgrading.
