Looker 26.16 completes its production rollout
Google Cloud reached the scheduled final deployment and download availability for Looker 26.16 on September 20. The release fixes embedded Workforce Identity sign-in failures, clipped dashboard exports, broken filter context in image downloads, visualization crashes and several LookML and BigQuery integration edge cases.
Why it mattersAnalytics reliability depends on more than query correctness. Identity handoffs, embedded layouts and scheduled exports are production interfaces; teams should regression-test those paths now that the rollout is complete, especially where dashboards are customer-facing or automated.
